Durkan Fencing Academy’s Youth Beginner program is crafted to spark excitement, build coordination, and introduce children to the fundamentals of fencing—while having a blast!

Ridgewood Six-Week Kids Beginner Classes

  • Ages: 5–8 years

  • Location: Anne Zusy Youth Center, Ridgewood Community Center (131 N. Maple Ave, Ridgewood)

  • When: Tuesdays, 3:30–4:30 pm

  • Dates: January 6th through February 10th

  • Cost: $350 ($375 non Ridgewood residents)

Program Options & Scheduling:

Youth Fencing Classes @DFA Ridgewood

  • Fencing classes for boys and girls ages 5 to 9

  • When: Available Saturday 10am, Sunday 10am, and Monday 5pm

  • One hour classes will cover fencing fundamentals to prepare students for competitive fencing

Children participating in fencing practice in an indoor gym, wearing protective gear and holding fencing swords, with an instructor guiding them.
  • Dynamic warm-ups, fencing footwork, and full-equipment training under expert coach guidance.

  • Fun and dynamic classes for all athletic levels.
